About
Meet The Bandits:
Bohemian Bandits is a brand birthed through a lifetime of friendship, creativity, and experience. The foundation of the brand is to empower you to create and celebrate the life you are living. We do this by creating one-of-a-kind event environments. Both Carly and Kayla bring unique style and expertise to curate new ways to celebrate for their guests and clients. They both bring a rawness that is launching them into exciting places. It’s not just about the thoughtfully and ethically sourced rental inventory, it is about the dynamic the Bohemian Bandits bring to the planning and details. A best friend duo who are, at their core, wild and whimsey. Bohemian Bandits will make you want to celebrate every little moment with your community and theirs.
We are best-friends building something for our families. Thoughtfully curated staging for intimate gatherings, the Bohemian Bandits will help bring your dream party to life. The style is vintage bohemian with a twist of whimsey. The attitude is wild, rustic and determined. Carly and Kayla have been friends for 20 years; this business is the love child of that relationship. It is truly a one-of-a-kind business and experience. There is a feeling that can’t be seen in a picture or understood through a flyer. It can only be experienced when you create magic with the Bandits. That is what we do. Create Magic. Located in an ancient Oak Grove in Southern Oregon, the Bandits gather much inspiration from the land. Gold Hill Or is where the staging barn lies between Medford and Grants Pass. We are excited to share the barn and land so you too can experience the creative energy that we feel working here.
Land Acknowledgement:
"We respectfully acknowledge that Gold Hill, Oregon, is situated on the traditional, ancestral homelands of the Takelma (or Dagelma) people. For thousands of years, the Lowland Takelma built vibrant communities along this stretch of the Rogue River, deeply intertwined with the lifecycle of the salmon and the abundance of the oak savannas.
During the Gold Rush and rapid Euro-American colonization of the 1850s, these lands were forcibly taken. Following the Rogue River Wars, the Takelma people were forcibly removed from their homes and marched to reservations on the Oregon coast. Today, their living descendants are primarily part of the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians and the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde.
We honor the resilience of the Takelma people, whose culture remains alive today through the continuation of the sacred Salmon Ceremony at Ti'lomikh Falls right here in Gold Hill. We commit to listening, learning, and practicing respectful stewardship of this land."
-Bohemian Bandits would love to collaborate with anyone looking to create community relationships with and through this land.
